In a posting on Instagram, Jason Momoa has announced that he’s officially arrived in England to begin production on “Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom” for DC Films and Warner Bros. Pictures.
The actor also teased the fact that he would be changing his hair color from his usual brown, which he also sported in the first film, to the more comics-accurate blond for the new one.
James Wan directs the sequel with David Leslie Johnson-McGoldrick writing the script. The new film is expected to feature a “more serious and relevant story” as well as some horror elements.
Also back are Patrick Wilson as Orm, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II as Black Manta, Dolph Lundgren as Nereus, and Amber Heard as Mera. At last report, Pilou Asbaek was in talks to join as the film’s villain.
