Amazon Studios has released the full-length trailer for the long-awaited “Annette,” filmmaker Leos Carax first feature since 2012’s bonkers “Holy Motors” became a critical smash.
Adam Driver, Marion Cotillard, Simon Helberg and Belgian singer Angele star in the film in which Driver plays a provocative stand-up comedian in Los Angeles. Cotillard is an internationally renowned soprano.
Together they form a happy and glamorous couple. But the birth of their first child, a mysterious girl with an exceptional destiny, will turn their lives upside down.
Shot in late 2019 across Los Angeles, Brussels, Bruges, and parts of Germany, and scored entirely by Sparks who helped conceive the film, the movie is set for a U.S. theatrical release on August 6th.
