20th Century Studios has set an August 27th premiere date for the raunchy comedy “Vacation Friends”. The film will premiere simultaneously on that date as an original movie on Hulu in the U.S., and as a Star original movie on Disney+ in international markets.
John Cena and Yvonne Orji play a level-headed couple that meets another and much more thrill-seeking couple (Lil Rey Howery, Meredith Hagner) and they all let loose to enjoy a week of uninhibited fun and debauchery in Mexico.
Months later, the straight-laced couple are getting married when said partying couple show up uninvited at the wedding and creating chaos.
Clay Tarver (“Silicon Valley”) directs from a script written by Tom Mullen, Tim Mullen, Clay Tarver, Jonathan Goldstein & John Francis Daley.
