The Jason Momoa-led Apple TV+ series “See” has released a teaser trailer for its second season which confirms an August 27th launch date.

Alfre Woodard also returns and Dave Bautista joins the new run of the post-apocalyptic drama series set centuries after a virus wiped out all but two million humans, with the survivors having lost their sense of sight.

The eight-episode first season launched in November 2019. The second shot a few weeks in February 2020 but then stalled for eight months due to the pandemic. It then resumed from October 2020 to March this year.

In addition, the series has officially been renewed for a third season, the new coinciding with Momoa’s appearance on “The Tonight Show” this week.

The series also stars Hera Hilmar, Sylvia Hoeks, Christian Camargo, Tom Mison, David Hewlett, Olivia Cheng and Tamara Tunie.
