Filmmaker James Wan has revealed that “Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom” will be the title for the upcoming sequel to his “Aquaman” movie.
Wan shared the news on Instagram with a logo that has a less colorful and more serious look to it than the first film.
Jason Momoa, Amber Heard, Patrick Wilson, and Yahya Abdul Mateen II are all returning while Pilou Asbæek will be joining the cast.
David Leslie Johnson-McGoldrick pens the script for the film with shooting to take place from July in Hawaii.
“Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom” is coming to cinemas on December 16th 2022.
