Netflix has released the trailer for “tick, tick…BOOM!,” the feature directorial debut of Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award winner Lin-Manuel Miranda.
Andrew Garfield stars in this adaptation of the autobiographical musical by Jonathan Larson, the creator of “Rent”. The story follows Jon, a young theater composer waiting tables in a New York City diner in 1990 while writing that musical.
With the clock ticking, Jon is at a crossroads and faces the question everyone must reckon with: What are we meant to do with the time we have?
Alexandra Shipp, Robin de Jesus, Joshua Henry, MJ Rodriguez, Bradley Whitford, Tariq Trotter, Judith Light, and Vanessa Hudgens co-star in the film which hits the streamer this Fall.
The trailer comes as the film adaptation of Miranda’s own musical “In the Heights” arrives in cinemas and on HBO Max today.
