The Book of Boba Fett
The new “Star Wars” series “The Book of Boba Fett,” a spin-off of “The Mandalorian,” has wrapped filming. Ming-Na Wen reprises her role of Fennec Shand in the new series alongside Temuera Morrison in the title role, with Ming-Na confirming the wrap gift she received for her work in the spin-off which is expected to air in December. Vikings: Valhalla
Netflix has released a behind-the-scenes look at “Vikings: Valhalla,” the currently in production spin-off series of History’s hit “Vikings”.

The story unfolds over a century later and follows some of the most famous Norsemen of all time during what is known as the end of the Viking Age. Sam Corlett, Frida Gustavsson, Johannes Haukur Johannesson and David Oakes star.

The Staircase
HBO Max’s script series adaptation of “The Staircase” has cast Odessa Young as Martha Ratliff, one of the adoped daughters of Michael Peterson (Colin Firth). The eight-episode series deals with the case of Michael who was accused of murdering his wife Kathleen (Toni Collette) in 2001. Parker Posey, Juliette Binoche, Rosemarie DeWitt, and Sophie Turner co-star. [Source: Variety]

Annie Live
Taraji P. Henson (“Empire,” “Hidden Figures”) will star as cruel orphanage head Miss Hannigan in NBC’s live musical presentation of “Annie” later this year. A nationwide, virtual search is underway for a young actor to play the title role. The project marks NBC’s first live musical since “Jesus Christ Superstar Live in Concert” in 2018. [Source: THR]

Miracle Workers
TBS has premiered the trailer for “Miracle Workers: Oregon Trail,” the third season of the anthology comedy series which returns on July 13th with an American Old West setting.

A small-town preacher (Daniel Radcliffe) teams up with a wanted outlaw (Steve Buscemi) and an adventurous prairie wife (Geraldine Viswanathan) to lead a wagon train across the Oregon Trail. Karan Soni and Jon Bass also return.
