Netflix has announced a September 10th release date for the action thriller “Kate” starring Mary Elizabeth Winstead (“Birds of Prey,” “Scott Pilgrim vs. The World”).
Winstead plays a female assassin who is poisoned whilst on a job in Tokyo and has only 24 hours to live. She uses that time to hunt down and kill those who gave her a death sentence.
Cedric Nicolas-Troyan (“The Huntsman: WInter’s War”) helms the film which also stars Woody Harrelson, Michiel Huisman, Tadanobu Asano, Jun Kunimura, and musician-turned-actor Miyavi.
