Kyle Chandler has joined the cast of Showtime’s anthology series “Super Pumped” based on Mike Isaac’s book about the origins of the Uber rideshare service.
Joseph Gordon-Levitt stars as Uber CEO and co-founder Travis Kalanick who was ousted from the Silicon Valley startup in a boardroom coup.
Chandler will star as Bill Gurley, a plainspoken Texan venture capitalist who bets his sterling reputation on Uber’s success and then has to live with the consequences.
“Billions” creators Brian Koppelman and David Levien will serve as writers and showrunners on the series.
