Netflix has released the first poster and photos for Ryan Murphy’s newest limited series “Halston” starring Golden Globe winner Ewan McGregor as the late legendary fashion designer Roy Halston Frowick.
Based on Steven Gaines’ book “Simply Halston,” the series was written and created by Sharr White with Daniel Minahan directing.
The show follows the legendary fashion designer as he leverages his name into a worldwide fashion empire synonymous with luxury, sex, status, and fame – defining 1970s and 1980s New York – until a hostile takeover forces him to battle for control of the Halston name.
The photos also offer first looks at Krysta Rodriguez as Liza Minnelli and Rory Culkin as Joel Schumacher. The series also stars Bill Pullman as David Mahoney, Kelly Bishop as Eleanor Lamber, Vera Farmiga as Adele, Rebecca Davan as Elsa Peretti, David Pittu as Joe Eula, Sullivan Jones as Ed Austin and Gianfranco Rodriguez as Victor Hugo.
The event series will be available for streaming on Friday, May 14th.
He would do anything to make a name for himself.
