“Blindspotting” actress and frequent video game voice contributor Janina Gavankar has scored the key role of the all-new character Commander Knoxx in the live-action film adaptation of Lionsgate’s popular video game series “Borderlands”.
Created just for the film, she’s a badass woman following in her father’s footsteps when she joined Atlas’ private army the Crimson Lance. Production on the film is currently underway. [Source: Deadline]

NEON has officially acquired the rights to “The Actor,” filmmaker Duke Johnson’s upcoming adaptation of Donald E. Westlake’s novel “Memory”. Duke Johnson and Stephen Cooney co-write the script.

Jacki Weaver (“Yellowstone,” “Animal Kingdom”) will join Mark Wahlberg in Rosalind Ross’s faith-based true story drama “Stu”. Stephen Levinson, Jordan Foss and Wahlberg will produce. Moon Knight
Another video of Oscar Isaac training for Marvel Studios’ upcoming “Moon Knight” series has gone online, this time showing the Golden Globe-winning actor learning a brutal fighting style.
Both Isaac and co-star Ethan Hawke have already been spotted together in Budapest, Hungary ahead of the series’ shoot. Egyptian filmmaker Mohamed Diab and Synchronic duo Justin Benson and Aaron Moorhead are directing the episodes.
