“Star Trek: Deep Space Nine” and “Game of Thrones” actor Alexander Siddig has been set to star opposite Charlie Hunnam in Apple’s international drama series “Shantaram”.
Hunnam plays a man on the run from an Australian prison looking to get lost in Bombay. Cut off by distance and fate, he finds a new life in India’s underworld. Siddig plays Khader Khan, a revered kingpin in said underworld and a surrogate father to Lin. [Source: Deadline]
Untitled L.A. Lakers Series
Jason Segel and Bo Burnham have joined the ensemble cast of HBO and Adam McKay’s sports drama about the 1980s Los Angeles Lakers. Segel is expected to play Paul Westhead, while Burnham will portray the legendary Larry Bird.
They join a cast that includes Adrien Brody, Sally Field, Michael Chiklis, John C. Reilly, Jason Clark, Gaby Hoffmann, Quincy Isaiah and Solomon Hughes. [Source: Variety]

Schwarzenegger has the key recurring role of the youngest team member and the platoon’s point man.
Antoine Fuqua helms the series about a platoon of Navy SEALs ambushed during a high-stakes covert mission. The sole survivor returns home to his family with conflicting memories of the event and questions about his culpability. Constance Wu, Riley Keough, Taylor Kitsch and Jeanne Tripplehorn co-star. Former “Arrow” alum Katie Cassidy will join Dermot Mulroney, Katherine McNamara, Rhys Coiro, Annie Ilonzeh, and Mel Gibson in the indie action thriller “Agent Game”.
Mulroney plays a CIA officer involved in missions to detain and relocate foreign nationals for interrogation.
