Mark Wahlberg is set to star in and produce the faith-based drama “Stu” from writer/director Rosalind Ross.
The story is said to be loosely based on a true story that’s “very close to Wahlberg’s heart” and which he’s been developing for years. Plot specifics are unknown.
Stephen Levinson and Jordan Foss also produce with filming aiming to begin next month.
Wahlberg will next be seen in the drama “Joe Bell” and sci-fi action film “Infinite”. He recently wrapped “Arthur The King” at Lionsgate and Sony’s film adaptation of the “Uncharted” video game franchise.
