Dominique Fishback (“Judas and the Black Messiah”) will join Samuel L. Jackson in “White Tiger” writer/director Ramin Bahrani’s new limited series “The Last Days of Ptolemy Grey” at Apple Studios.
Jackson plays a 91-year-old and mostly forgotten man who, on the brink of sinking even deeper into lonely dementia, is given the tremendous opportunity to briefly regain his memories and uses that fleeting lucidity to solve his nephew’s death and come to terms with his past.
Fishback will star as Robyn, a friend of the family who helps Ptolemy. The story is based on the best-selling novel by Walter Mosley with Mosley penning the scripts for the show.
Bahrani will direct and executive produce alongside Jackson, David Levine, Diane Houslin, LaTanya Richardson Jackson and Eli Selden.
