Edie Falco (“Nurse Jackie,” “The Sopranos”) has been set to play Hillary Clinton in Ryan Murphy’s forthcoming FX limited series “Impeachment: American Crime Story”.
This third season of the anthology series will deal with the President Bill Clinton-Monica Lewinsky sex scandal be based on Jeffrey Toobin’s book “A Vast Conspiracy”.
The series will star Beanie Feldstein as Lewinsky, Clive Owen as Bill Clinton, Annaleigh Ashford as Paula Jones and Billy Eichner as journalist Matt Drudge.
Richard Shepard will direct and executive produce while Sarah Burgess is writing and will serve as executive producer with Shepard, Murphy, Nina Jacobson, Brad Simpson, Brad Falchuk, Larry Karaszewski, Scott Alexander, Alexis Martin Woodall, and Sarah Paulson.
