Netflix has picked up “Source Code” co-writer Ben Ripley’s sci-fi spec script “Parallel” which is being produced by Dan Lin and Jonathan Eirich’s Rideback (“The Two Popes”).
The sci-fi heist story involves a man and woman who traffic in high-end crimes in parallel universes. Their sudden meeting threatens their boss and so they fight across different realities to find one where they can both survive and be together.
Ripley also penned the “Flatliners” remake and recently wrote an “Air Force One” sequel for Sony and Beacon Pictures
