Nickelodeon and Hasbro’s eOne are teaming up for an animated action-comedy series based on the “Transformers” franchise.
The 26-episode half-hour series follows a new species of Transformers who must find their place and purpose among Autobots, Decepticons, and the human family that adopts them. The work will have themes of family amidst all the fun.
The series will premiere exclusively on Nickelodeon in the U.S. before rolling out internationally, though an outlet hasn’t yet been set. The show is executive produced by “Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles” duo Ant Ward and Dale Malinowski along with Nicole Dubuc (“Transformers: Rescue Bots”).
