Netflix has announced a May 7th premiere date and released a title treatment for their forthcoming superhero drama series “Jupiter’s Legacy”.
Based on the comics by Mark Millar and Frank Quitely the eight-episode series is described as an epic superhero drama.
In the series, the world’s first generation of superheroes must look to their children to continue the legacy. But tensions arise as the young superheroes struggle to live up to their parents’ public reputations and exacting personal standards.
Josh Duhamel, Leslie Bibb, Ben Daniels, Andrew Horton, Elena Kampouris, Matt Lanter and Mike Wade star in the series which is being executive produced by Sang Kyu Kim. Steven S. DeKnight wrote and directed the first episode of the series.
