Mila Kunis (“Black Swan,” “Jupiter Ascending”) has signed on to star in the film adaptation of Jessica Knoll’s best-selling novel “Luckiest Girl Alive” for Netflix, Made Up Stories and Picturestart.
Kunis will play a New York magazine editor who finds her meticulously crafted life” upended when a crime documentary forces her to relive the shocking truths of a devastating incident from her teenage years.
Kunis will also produce through her Orchard Farm Productions banner and alongside Bruna Papandrea, Jeanne Snow, Erik Feig and Lucy Kitada. Mike Barker helms the film from a script Knoll will pen herself.
