Actor Tom Holland has seemingly shot down the rumors that past Spider-Man actors like Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield will be appearing in Holland’s upcoming third full “Spider-Man” film which is currently in production.
As part of a lengthy profile on Holland in Esquire to discuss his new drama “Cherry,” the young Brit also commented on those Maguire and Garfield cameo rumors. Holland tells the outlet:
“No, no, they will not be appearing in this film. Unless they have hidden the most massive piece of information from me, which I think is too big of a secret for them to keep from me. But as of yet, no. It’ll be a continuation of the Spider-Man movies that we’ve been making.”
The profile piece notes that Holland is aware that he is fed decoy information all the time so as to avoid spoilers leaking out. The new “Spider-Man” is expected to hit cinemas on December 17th.
