A24 has acquired U.S. rights to Ninja Thyberg’s explicit drama “Pleasure” which deals with the adult film industry. The project premiered at the Sundance Film Festival and A24 will release the full uncensored film, as well as an R-rated version, later this year.
The story explores the Los Angeles porn industry through the lens of newcomer Bella Cherry (Sofia Kappel), who moves from a small town in Sweden to pursue her dreams of stardom. [Source: Variety]
Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3
Filmmaker James Gunn has confirmed that the upcoming “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3” from Marvel Studios will utilise the same StageCraft technology that Lucasfilm uses on “The Mandalorian” and which is being used on the upcoming “Thor: Love and Thunder”. Gunn also confirmed earlier this week he is 100% finished with “The Suicide Squad” at Warner Bros. Pictures. [Source: Twitter]

Tomorrow and Tomorrow and Tomorrow
Paramount Pictures won an auction to acquire Gabrielle Zevin’s novel “Tomorrow, And Tomorrow, And Tomorrow” for $2 million. Marty Bowen, Wyck Godfrey and Isaac Klausner will produce while Zevin will adapt the script.
The modern love story follows two friends who meet as children and reunite as adults to create video games, finding an intimacy in digital storytelling that eludes them in their real lives. [Source: Deadline]
