A couple of key release date announcements today.
First, Warner Bros. Pictures and New Line Cinema have set a May 14th 2021 release of Taylor Sheridan’s neo-Western thriller “Those Who Wish Me Dead” in theaters and on HBO Max.
The story follows a teen in a witness protection program evading killers in the fire-raged wilderness of Montana. Angelina Jolie, Nicholas Hoult, Jon Bernthal, Tyler Perry, Aidan Gillena and Jake Wever star.
Next, Universal Pictures has set a September 24th wide release for the Stephen Chbosky-directed film adaptation of Broadway phenomenon “Dear Evan Hansen”.
Ben Platt reprises his role as an anxious, isolated high schooler aching for understanding and belonging amid the chaos and cruelty of the social-media age.
Finally, there’s “Monster Hunter” which opened late last year in the States and is now finally coming to VOD and disc with the Milla Jovovich-led film hitting digital platforms on February 16th and physical on March 2nd.
