Jamie Dornan has scored the lead role alongside Danielle Macdonald, Shalom Brune-Franklin, and Hugo Weaving in the six-episode limited series “The Tourist” for HBO Max, BBC One, Stan, ZDF and Two Brothers Pictures.
Dornan plays a British man who finds himself in the heart of the Australian outback being pursued by a vast tank truck trying to drive him off the road.
An epic cat and mouse chase unfolds and the man later wakes in a hospital, hurt, but somehow alive. Except he has no idea who he is. With merciless figures from his past pursuing him, he is propelled through the vast and unforgiving outback.
Harry and Jack Williams penned the series and will executive produce along with Christopher Aird and Andrew Benson. Filming is set to begin soon in Australia.
