AMC Networks has acquired the six-part revenge thriller series “The Beast Must Die” which it will produce BritBox UK, New Regency and Scott Free.
An adaptation of the Nicholas Blake novel, the story centers on a grieving mother who infiltrates the life of the man she thinks murdered her son.
Jared Harris (“Chernobyl,” “Fringe”) and Cush Jumbo (“The Good Fight”) lead the cast which includes Billy Howle, Nathaniel Parker, and Geraldine James.
Dome Karukoski (“Tom of Finland,” “Tolkien”) directs the event series which will air later this year. Gaby Chiappe (“Their Finest”) adapted the script.
