Searchlight Pictures has tidied up their release date schedule for 2021 a bit, setting new dates for a handful of genre projects either delayed from last year or in the works for this year.
David Bruckner’s horror-mystery “The Night House” will debut July 16th, Michael Showalter’s “The Eyes of Tammy Faye” will hit September 24th, Scott Cooper’s supernatural horror tale “Antlers” will arrive October 29th, and Guillermo del Toro’s “Nightmare Alley” will hit December 3rd.
“Night House” debuted last year to good reviews at Sundance, while “Antlers” was originally planning to release in April last year.
The projects join the previously scheduled “Nomadland” which hits cinemas and Hulu on February 19th. Two other films – Wes Anderson’s “The French Dispatch” and Taika Waititi’s “Next Goal Wins,” will arrive sometime in 2021.
