A couple of key TV promo trailers today starting with the trailer for the second season of the space drama “For All Mankind”.
The new season picks up a decade later in 1983 – the height of the Cold War and tensions between the United States and the USSR are at their peak.
Ronald Reagan is President and the greater ambitions of science and space exploration are at threat of being squandered as the US and Soviets go head to head to control sites rich in resources on the moon. Joel Kinnaman, Michael Dorman, Sarah Jones and Shantel VanSanten all return for the new run which premieres February 19th.
Next, Netflix has released the trailer for the Kevin James-led comedy series “The Crew” premiering on February 15th. James plays a NASCAR crew chief who has to protect himself and his crew from attempts to modernize the team by the team’s new owner Catherine (Jillian Mueller). Bruce McGill, Freddie Stroma, and Sarah Stiles star.
Then comes “Firefly Lane,” a new ten-episode drama starring Katherine Heigl and Sarah Chalke as inseparable best friends through three decades of ups and downs. The series, which also stars Ben Lawson and Beau Garrett, premieres February 3rd.
HBO Max has released a trailer for a new batch of “Looney Tunes Cartoons” which returns on Thursday, January 21st. Taz stars in his first full-length Looney Tunes Cartoons short when he takes on Bugs Bunny in a Roman coliseum. Meanwhile Daffy and Porky continue their misadventures from skydiving to solving the mystery of Porky’s missing pants.
