Amazon Studios and Sony Pictures Television have set the cast for their planned TV series reboot of the “I Know What You Did Last Summer” horror film franchise.
Written by Sara Goodman (“Preacher”) based on the 1973 novel by Lois Duncan, the series follows a group of teenagers who are stalked by a mysterious killer a year after a fatal accident on their graduation night.
“Jumanji: The Next Level” actress Madison Iseman will play the lead alongside Brianne Tju (“Light as a Feather”), Ezekiel Goodman, Ashley Moore (“Popstar: Never Stop Never Stopping”), Sebastian Amoruso (“Solve”), Fiona Rene (“Stumptown”), Cassie Beck (“Connecting”), Brooke Bloom (“Homecoming”) and Bill Heck (“I’m Your Woman”).
Production will begin this month in Hawaii. Goodman will write and executive produce along with Shay Hatten, Neal Moritz, Pavun Shetty, Erik Feig, James Wan, Rob Hackett and Michael Clear.
Craig Macneill will serve as director and executive producer for the first episode.
