Disney+ has unveiled a new 60-second TV spot for Marvel’s “WandaVision” with a ton of new footage and a first listen to one of the show’s original theme songs.
The song was penned by Oscar-winning “Frozen” songwriters Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez who wrote several unique tunes for the series to fit the shifting tones of the shows within the show – portraying how TV sitcoms changed from the 1950s to the early 2000s.
Lopez says in a statement: “‘WandaVision’ is such a cool, strange, one-of-a-kind project… We loved the bright feeling of American sitcoms mixed with the deep sense of unease the story had, and it was a really inviting challenge to help set that tone.”
The series, now believed to run nine episodes long, will mark the return of Elizabeth Olsen as Wanda Maximoff and Paul Bettany as Vision, respectively, from the Marvel Cinematic Universe. It is currently slated to premiere on Disney+ on January 15th.
