R.I.P. Tommy ‘Tiny’ Lister & Barbara Windsor

Two great and very different actors who found success in comedy have died today.

“Friday,” “The Fifth Element” and “The Dark Knight” actor Tommy “Tiny” Lister has passed. The 6’5 62-year-old giant was famed for playing intimidating yet loveable tough guys. Lister also had two short pro wrestling stints and starred with Hulk Hogan in 1989’s “No Holds Barred”.

Law enforcement pronounced him dead on the scene at his Marina Del Rey apartment earlier this afternoon. No word as yet on a cause of death though it reportedly appears to be of natural causes.

Also passing today is the belovedly bubbly Dame Barbara Windsor who passed on at the age of 83. Windsor was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease in 2014 and died at a London care home on Thursday evening.

Windsor found fame in the bawdy and very politically incorrect “Carry On” films, the character actress famed for her platinum hair, vocal delivery and cheeky gags usually involving her bust across nine films including “Carry on Camping” and “Carry on Henry”.

Later in life she made her debut as bar owner Peggy in British soap “EastEnders” and became a fan favorite.
