“iCarly” Gets A Revival On Paramount+

ViacomCBS’ streaming platform Paramount+ (formerly CBS All Access) is reviving Nickelodeon series “iCarly” ahead of its rebranding/relaunch next year.

Miranda Cosgrove, Jerry Trainor and Nathan Kress will reprise their roles from the original series for this new one which has been handed a series order ahead of a premiere early next year.

The original breakout hit for the network ran from 2007-12 and followed a middle schooler (Cosgrove) who hosts a webcast with her friends – pop culture references abound.

“The Simpsons” producer Jay Kogen and “Merry Happy Whatever” producer Ali Schouten will develop the show. Nickelodeon Studios is producing.

iCarly joins a slate of originals at Paramount+ in the works like “The Offer” “Kamp Koral”” and “Coyote” along with current hits like “The Good Fight,” “Star Trek: Discovery” and “Star Trek: Picard”.
