Molina, Dunst & More Back In “Spider-Man 3”

It seems that almost all the major players from the pre-MCU “Spider-Msn” films are coming back for the upcoming third Tom Holland-led movie.

It began a few hours ago with a report at THR that Alfred Molina would reprise his role of Doctor Octopus/Otto Octavius from “Spider-Man 2”.

Now Collider is reporting that he’ll be joined by both previous Peter Parkers (Tobey Maguire, Andrew Garfield) and their respective love interests (Kirsten Dunst, Emma Stone). Negotiations with the actors are reportedly still ongoing with Maguire the one proving the most problematic as he’s asking for a lot apparently.

They join Jamie Foxx returning as Electro along with MCU regular Benedict Cumberbatch as Doctor Strange and all the usuals from the current run of “Spider-Man” films. The new film is currently shooting with Jon Watts as director. It is scheduled for release December 21st.
