Photos on social media have indicated that production on Marvel Studios’ “Hawkeye” TV series is getting underway this week with shooting scheduled to take place at downtown Brooklyn on Wednesday, December 2nd.
We still do not have official confirmation on who will portray Kate Bishop, the protege and eventual successor to the Hawkeye mantle from Clint Barton (Jeremy Renner), in the limited series which is going by the working title “Anchor Point”.
Hailee Steinfeld is reportedly in talks for the role for Kate while “Troop Zero” helmers Amber Finlayson and Katie Ellwood, aka Bert and Bertie, are directing the series with Rhys Thomas (“Staten Island Summer”).
“Hawkeye” is expected to debut in Fall 2021 on the Disney+ service.
