A recent listing has suggested that filmmaker David Lynch is working on “Wisteria,” a new project for Netflix. It also indicates Sabrina S. Sutherland is onboard to produce the film or TV project which is targeting a Los Angeles shoot starting in May.
Production Weekly had the listing and if true and it is a film, it would mark Lynch’s first foray into features since 2006’s “Inland Empire”. Lynch most recently helmed the acclaimed eighteen-episode revival of “Twin Peaks” in 2017.
The Playlist however reports that Netflix has provided no comment whatsoever on such a project. There have been unconfirmed rumors of Lynch’s next project for a while but nothing concrete as yet. Consider this very much rumor for now.
