With filming having wrapped, Spyglass Media and Paramount Pictures have confirmed that the highly-anticipated fifth installment in the “Scream” franchise will be titled simply “Scream”.
Both creator Kevin Williamson and the movie’s official Twitter account have confirmed the title for the film which will open January 14th 2022. The new entry follows “a woman returning to her home town to try to find out who has been committing a series of vicious crimes.”
“Ready or Not” helmers Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett direct the project and those involved have just posted some photos from the North Carolina set which you can see below.
Neve Campbell, David Arquette and Courteney Cox are returning and are joined by Marley Shelton, Dylan Minnette, Kyle Gallner, Jack Quaid, Melissa Barrera, Jenna Ortega, Jasmin Savoy Brown, Mason Gooding and Mikey Madison.
