Christopher Walken has joined the cast of the Apple workplace thriller series “Severance” which begins filming this month.
Adam Scott stars as Mark, an employee of Lumen Industries which is looking to take work-life balance to a new level. Mark has a dark past and is trying to put himself back together.
Patricia Arquette plays his boss while John Turturro will play the company’s longtime, dependable star employee. Walken will star as Burt, the department head of Optics and Design at Lumen. This marks Walken’s first TV role since his turn as Captain Hook in 2014’s “Peter Pan Live” musical special.
Tramell Tillman, Jen Tullock, Zach Cherry and Britt Lower co-star and filming begins sometime in November with Ben Stiller on board to direct.
Dan Erickson serves as writer and executive producer alongside Stiller, Scott, Arquette, Chris Black, Nicky Weinstock and Jackie Cohn.
