Netflix has ordered the Kristen Bell-led eight-episode limited series “The Woman in the House”.
Bell plays the heartbroken Anna, a woman who sits with her wine, staring out the window and watching life go by without her.
When a handsome neighbor moves in across the street, she starts to see a light at the end of the tunnel. That is until she witnesses a gruesome murder… Or did she?
“Nobodies” trio Rachel Ramras, Hugh Davidson and Larry Dorf created and will serve as co-showrunners on the project. Bell, Will Ferrell, Jessica Elbaum, and Brittney Segal will also executive produce.
“Buffy” alum Marti Noxon will serve as a creative consultant. The project marks Bell’s first live-action TV role since the wrap of “The Good Place” in January.
