As part of its New York Comic Con panel this weekend, Hulu has released the first official clip from their upcoming revival of beloved 1990s animated series “Animaniacs” – and it’s a doozy.
Boasting a pitch perfect parody of “Jurassic Park” and the famed scene where the main group of characters see a dinosaur for the first time, the series aims to capture the pop culture zaniness of the original.
Even the show’s executive producer Steven Spielberg gets in on it standing in as John Hammond in the clip. The sequence is likely to be the opening scene in the first episode of the new series which sees original voice actors Rob Paulsen, Jess Harnell, and Tress MacNeille all returning.
You can also see the panel in its entirety below. “Animaniacs” comes to Hulu with thirteen new episodes starting on November 20th with a renewal order already having been handed out.
