Andie MacDowell (“Ready or Not”) is set to star in Netflix’s upcoming comedy drama series “Maid” in a leading role opposite Margaret Qualley. Based on Stephanie Land’s memoir, Qualley plays a single mother who turns to housekeeping to make ends meet as she battles against poverty, homelessness, and bureaucracy. Intrusion
Freida Pinto and Logan Marshall-Green are set to star in Adam Salky’s thriller “Intrusion” at Netflix. Pinto and Marshall-Green play a husband and wife who move to a small town and suffer a home invasion that leaves the wife traumatized and suspicious that those around her might not be who they seem. Girls5Eva
Renee Elise Goldsberry (“Hamilton”) has joined Sara Bareilles in the cast of Peacock’s music comedy “Girls5eva” which is executive produced by Tina Fey, Robert Carlock and Meredith Scardino. Kat Coiro was recently hired to helm the pilot.

The story begins when a one-hit-wonder girl group from the 1990s gets sampled by a young rapper, which causes its members reunite to give their pop star dreams one more shot. Goldsberry will play the role of Wickie, the glamorous, big-voiced, star of the group back in the day. [Source: Variety]
