Its official, the second season of the Disney+ “Star Wars “spin-off series “The Mandalorian” has finally set an October 30th premiere date.
Pedro Pascal returns as a lone Mandalorian gunfighter in the outer reaches of the galaxy and is joined by former Rebel Shock Trooper Cara Dune (Gina Carano) and bounty hunters guild member (Carl Weathers).
Giancarlo Esposito returns as the sinister Moff Gideon while new to this season are apparently the likes of Rosario Dawson as Rebel Alliance spymaster Ahsoka Tano, Katee Sackhoff as Bo-Katan, Temuera Morrison as Boba Fett and Timothy Olyphant in an unspecified role.
Robert Rodriguez, Peyton Reed, Rick Famuyiwa, Dave Filoni, Carl Weathers and Jon Favreau all helm episodes of the new season.
