Netflix has ordered the multiple camera comedy series “Dad Stop Embarrassing Me” which will star Jamie Foxx and is inspired by his relationship with his daughter, Corinne Foxx.
Foxx, David Alan Grier, Kyla-Drew, Porscha Coleman, and Jonathan Kite lead the cast with Heather Hemmens and Valente Rodriguez appearing in recurring roles.
Bentley Kyle Evans serves as showrunner and executive producer while Foxx will executive produce. Ken Whittingham will direct all episodes of the series which will be Foxx’s first TV starring role since “The Jamie Foxx Show” two decades ago.
Father and daughter Foxx currently appear together on the competition series “Beat Shazam”.
