Following its premiere at the DC Fandome event, Warner Bros. Pictures and DC Films have released the second trailer and for “Wonder Woman 1984,” the follow-up to the celebrated 2017 film adaptation of the DC Comics title.
The story fast forwards to the 1980s as Diana’s next big screen adventure finds her facing two all-new foes: Max Lord and The Cheetah, the latter finally shown in her full glory.
The film stars Gal Gadot as Diana/Wonder Woman, Chris Pine as Steve Trevor, Kristen Wiig as The Cheetah, Pedro Pascal as Maxwell Lord, Robin Wright as Antiope, and Connie Nielsen as Hippolyta.
“Wonder Woman 1984” is set to open in theaters on October 2nd.
