“Snake Eyes: G.I. Joe Origins” Delayed To 2021

Originally targeting a release this Otober, “Snake Eyes: G.I. Joe Origins” has now been pushed back to a 2021 release.

Brian Goldner, Hasbro’s chairman and CEO revealed the news saying Paramount is now targeting a theatrical release next year with the delay due to the pandemic. When next year isn’t clear, Goldner telling analysts: “we’re working out the specifics with Paramount” at present.

Hasbro’s eOne division has started to resume production on scripted and unscripted series in Canada and the U.K., while the company awaits a relaunch of production in the U.S potentially later this year.

eOne has around 100 TV projects currently in development and another 40 movie projects in the pipeline including the new “Dungeons and Dragons” film.
