Boyega Has “Moved On” From “Star Wars”

British actor John Boyega has re-affirmed that he has no intention of returning to the “Star Wars” franchise.

The actor was recently asked whether he would be up for an appearance in a new “Star Wars” movie to which he responded “lol no thank you. I’ve moved on.”

When someone then challenged him saying he “really just got those Disney bucks and dipped,” he responded: “nope. Not into playing one role for too long. I have more to offer than that. That’s all.”

Boyega played storm trooper-turned-rebel Finn, one of the main trio of actors in the sequel trilogy alongside Daisy Ridley and Oscar Isaac. All three actors have indicated in comments their disappointment with how things ended with the recent trilogy of films and seemingly keen to move onto other things.

Boyega is not against reprising his role of Moses from “Attack the Block,” saying: “I haven’t played Moses in over a decade. I’d love to revisit him. Now he is a BADASS.”

Boyega will soon be seen in the Steve McQueen period series “Small Axe” and the major feature “Naked Singularity”.
