Animated feature “Phineas and Ferb The Movie: Candace Against the Universe” will premiere exclusively on Disney+ on Friday, August 28th.
Executive produced by Dan Povenmire and Jeff ‘Swampy’ Marsh, the adventure story tracks stepbrothers Phineas and Ferb as they set out across the galaxy to rescue their older sister Candace, who after being abducted by aliens, finds utopia in a far-off planet, free of pesky little brothers.
Much of the voice talent are reprising their roles from the original series including Ashley Tisdale, Vincent Martella, Caroline Rhea, Dee Bradley Baker and Alyson Stoner.
Bob Bowen helms the new film and Walt Disney Records is handling the film’s soundtrack which will be available the same day.
All four seasons of the original animated series and the earlier film “Phineas and Ferb the Movie: Across the 2nd Dimension” are also available to stream on Disney+.
