The DC Universe streaming service is offering an incentive for subscribers to add HBO Max to their current deal for only an additional $4.99 per month. This incentive is reportedly set to run through the rest of this year.
Launched in 2018, the service boasts a long list of classic DC TV shows and movies along with originals like “Titans,” “Doom Patrol,” “Swamp Thing” and the animated “Harley Quinn” and a vast digital library of DC comics.
However the platform has never expanded outside of the United States and a bunch of its content has now shown up on HBO Max including simultaneous airings of episodes of the second season of “Doom Patrol”.
It’s believed this new incentive is a way of transitioning DC Universe subscribers to HBO Max ahead of an eventual pulling the plug on the DC Universe service, but there has been no announcement as yet in regards to the fate of DC Universe.
Separately Collider confirmed this week that WarnerMedia that the “Harley Quinn” animated series will come to HBO Max at some point.
