Jodie
Comedy Central has given a series order to Grace Edwards’ “Jodie,” an adult animated spinoff of the Jodie Landon character from MTV’s classic 90s sitcom “Daria”. Golden Globe winner Tracee Ellis Ross is set to voice the titular lead and serve as executive producer.
The spinoff picks up with Jodie graduating from college and entering a complicated world and will explore the trials and tribulations of a first job for a new generation. It will satirize workplace culture, Gen Z struggles, the artifice of social media and more. [Source: Comedy Central]
