EA Games Hit Steam At Major Discount

In an unexpected surprise, Electronic Arts has made a bunch of titles from its back catalogue available on Steam including the three “Dragon Age” games, “Mirror’s Edge Catalyst,””Crysis 3,” “Sea of Solitude,” “Burnout Paradise; Remastered,” both “Medal of Honor” and “Unravel” games, and numerous “Need for Speed” titles among others.

In addition, these games are also available at steep discounts along with the EA titles that have always been on Steam such as the first “Mirror’s Edge” and early “Crysis” titles. The new titles were previously only available on EA’s Origin service.

They’re not the only ones popping up on Steam as Microsoft has now added “Sea of Thieves” to the service as well after being a Microsoft store exclusive. It joins the “Halo: Master Chief Collection,” “Gears Tactics,” “Age of Empires 1-3” and more that have ben shuffling onto the service over the past few months.

EA stated last year that EA PC games would be coming to Steam, starting with the release of “Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order”. This appears to be the first wave of previously EA Origin exclusive games to make the jump.

There’s some notably major titles not included here from EA such as “Mass Effect 3,” “Mass Effect Andromeda,” “Titanfall,” “Anthem,” “Apex Legends,” and multiple “Battlefield,” “Star Wars: Battlefront” and sporting titles. Microsoft has some notably missing titles from Steam as well including several “Gears of War” and “Forza” titles.
