Just two months after it arrived on digital release, Warner Bros. Pictures has announced that it is offering a free rental on Destin Daniel Cretton’s legal drama “Just Mercy” starting from later today and running through until the end of this month. The rental will be available on all digital platforms in the United States.
In a statement on the film’s official account, they say: “We believe in the power of story. #JustMercy is one resource we can offer to those who are interested in learning more about the systemic racism that plagues our society. For the month of June, #JustMercy will be available to rent for free on digital platforms in the US.”
Michael B. Jordan stars in this adaptation of world-renowned civil rights defense attorney Bryan Stevenson’s memoir. In the film, he recounts his experiences and details the case of a condemned death row prisoner whom he fought to free. Jamie Foxx, Brie Larson, and Tim Blake Nelson co-starred in the well-reviewed film which was released late last year.
