“Good Omens” duo David Tennant and Michael Sheen will re-team to star in the brand new six-episode BBC One lockdown comedy “Staged”.
The story follows the cast of a play who have been furloughed when their upcoming West End production comes to a halt, attempt to keep rehearsals on track despite the lockdown. Each episode runs 15 minutes and will play with stage and off-stage fiction and true-life reality.
Tennant and Sheen’s real-life partners Georgia Tennant and Anna Lundberg also star, as does theater actress Lucy Eaton and TV actress Nina Sosanya. British theater director Simon Evans pens and directs.
