Peacock Unveils Its Official Launch Line-Up

NBCUniversal’s new Peacock streaming service has confirmed the line-up of original content that will be available when the service goes into full national launch mode on July 15th.

Peacock Premium customers will be able to stream all first season episodes of four new scripted series “Brave New World,” “The “Capture,” “Intelligence;” along with the sports documentary “In Deep with Ryan Lochte” and racing docoseries “Lost Speedways,” along with the full feature “Psych 2: Lassie Come Home”.

Of the scripted titles, the biggest is “Brave New World” based on Aldous Huxley’s groundbreaking novel about a utopian society where the arrival of John the Savage (Alden Ehrenreich) from the outside of this blissful state threatens to disrupt society’s harmony.

“The Capture” is a conspiracy thriller about a soldier (Callum Turner) who escapes a murder conviction whilst on tour in Afghanistan, but damning CCTV footage from a night out in London has him fighting for his freedom once again. Ron Perlman, Famke Janssen, Holliday Grainger, Laura Haddock and Ben Miles co-star.

“Intelligence” is a workplace comedy set in the UK’s Government Communications Headquarters – a geekier and more bureaucratic version of MI5 and MI6, where they tackle international and domestic Cyber Crime from a desktop. David Schwimmer stars.

New episodes of “Curious George” and two DreamWorks Animation series – “Cleopatra in Space” and “Where’s Waldo?” will also arrive that day.

In July, viewers can watch at peacocktv.com or across mobile and connected TV platforms with the Peacock app.
